When Jessica & Soo Young came to us, they had a clear vision: they wanted a full-service planner who could guide them through every step of the process, allowing them to truly enjoy their engagement and wedding day without stress. They weren’t looking to go over-the-top with design or break the bank—but they wanted a wedding that felt elegant, intentional, and effortlessly beautiful. And that’s exactly what we created for them for their wedding at Solage!
A Modern & Whimsical Wedding at Solage Filled With The Best Moments: Love, Laughter & Champagne Towers
Solage, an Auberge Resort, provided the perfect neutral backdrop for their wedding. Its clean architecture and serene wine country setting allowed us to infuse personality without overwhelming the space. Jessica & Soo Young loved a modern aesthetic but also dreamed of a garden-inspired celebration. Our design direction? Keep things sleek where it mattered (signage, tablescapes, and layouts) while letting the florals be organic, wild, and full of movement.
One of the most personal touches was the floral palette! Combining Jessica’s love for purple and Soo Young’s love for blue. The Wild Fleur Co. brought that vision to life with a dreamy combination of lilac, soft lavender, periwinkle, and white blooms, arranged in a way that felt natural yet refined. These floral installations framed their ceremony and reception, making each space feel both romantic and fresh. To add a little extra warmth and personality, we incorporated colored napkins—a subtle yet impactful touch that had guests immediately “oohing” and “aahing” as they entered the reception.
There were so many unforgettable moments! The ceremony was filled with happy tears and heartfelt vows. The reception? A gorgeous candlelit dinner where every table was bursting with lush floral arrangements and soft, romantic textures. And of course, we had to include a champagne tower to kick off the night! And let’s not forget the dance floor! The groom was literally lifted into the air by his best friends in pure celebration and the bride and groom had an epic smoke machine that went off during their first dance. That’s the kind of energy we love to see!

With a clear budget in mind, we focused on thoughtful design decisions that prioritized impact over excess. The result? A day that felt elevated, completely them, and free from any last-minute worries.
From coordinating with the incredible vendor team (see below!) to ensuring a seamless timeline, we made sure they could be present for every special moment! Whether it was their joyful walk down the aisle, their heartfelt toasts, or their high-energy dance floor that lasted late into the night. It was truly an incredible evening! I was absolutely honored to be a part of their day and planning journey!
