A Sonoma Wedding Day That I Will Remember For A Lifetime
Our Emotional First Look – Que The Tears
With the anticipation of this moment, all of our closest friends and family were in the barn watching us as we saw each other for the first time on our wedding day. The emotions came on strong! I honestly didn’t expect both of us to shed some tears, but we totally did! What I loved most about doing a first look is that we were able to really hold this memory with just us and no one else. Oh, and of course with our photo & video team. It made it so impactful and meaningful, memories that we will cherish forever.
The Spring Inspired Sonoma Wedding Details
The details were SO important to me. I knew that the floral was one element of our wedding that I couldn’t skimp out on. WE HAD TO GO ALL OUT! Spring is one of my favorite seasons, so I knew that the floral had to be spring-inspired. The floral arrangements were created by Floral Luxe, and they absolutely nailed the vision. Then, we decided that the farm tables from Encore needed to be a part of the reception space. We knew we wanted the colorful elements to shine through in the design. So, we infused color into our napkins, candles, and menus!
The “You Spice Up Our Life” Seating Chart
My husband and I love to cook, which is where this idea was inspired from. We knew we wanted to provide a gift to our guests, but we wanted it to be something meaningful to us and actually usable. So, we created a special spice from scratch. Then, we had custom labels added to the spice containers to indicate where guests were seated. It turned out incredible and was a total hit during cocktail hour!
The Custom Floral-Inspired Cake
Not only was this cake absolutely stunning but also DELICIOUS! Flour and Bloom did fantastic and included my favorite flavor – GUAVA! If you are looking for a cake team that will go above and beyond and has incredible flavors, then look no further, because this is the team you should hire! They even hand painted flowers on the cake and it turned out incredible.
The Incredible People
All things aside from the details, decor, and wedding-related aspects, it was the people who made it the exact day we wanted and hoped for. Being able to share these memories with my loved ones and closest friends was a dream come true for both me and my husband. We couldn’t have made this wedding day come true without all the help, love, and efforts from everyone involved, and we couldn’t be more grateful!
Cheers to the best day ever and to all the vendors who made our dreams come true!
