We’ve been counting down the days until we could finally share Jess and Rob’s incredible wedding at Stonepine Estate. The moment Dao J Photo sent over their sneak peeks, we knew this wedding deserved a permanent spot on our blog. Every image perfectly captured the feeling of the weekend: sophisticated, romantic, and effortlessly timeless. Between the dreamy floral designs by La Flora Designs and Stonepine Estate’s breathtaking backdrop, every detail came together in a way that still has our team talking.
Located in the heart of Carmel Valley, Stonepine Estate is one of those rare venues that feels completely transportive. With its European-inspired architecture, manicured gardens, hidden courtyards, and multiple event spaces spread throughout the property, it offers couples the opportunity to create a wedding weekend that feels immersive from beginning to end. Jess and Rob fully embraced everything the estate had to offer, designing a celebration that flowed effortlessly from one breathtaking location to the next while making every space feel completely unique.
Endless Opportunities for Custom Design
One of the reasons we love planning a wedding at Stonepine Estate is because no two celebrations ever have to look the same. While the estate’s European architecture and manicured grounds provide an incredible backdrop, the property offers the flexibility to completely personalize each space. Instead of working around limitations, couples have the freedom to create a celebration that feels entirely their own.
For Jess and Rob, that meant looking beyond the venue’s traditional layout and imagining the Chateau Noel Courtyard in a completely new way. Rather than using it for the ceremony, we transformed it into the reception, proving just how versatile the estate can be when thoughtful planning and intentional design come together!!
Jess & Rob’s Wedding at Stonepine Estate
From the moment planning began, Jess and Rob envisioned a wedding weekend that felt elevated, fashion-forward, and filled with intentional design. They wanted every part of the guest experience to feel distinct while still flowing together seamlessly, which made Stonepine Estate the perfect venue. We had the opportunity to be alongside them for the entire weekend! Beginning with a relaxed welcome celebration on the Paddock House Lawn before guests gathered the following day for the wedding itself.
The ceremony took place at the estate’s breathtaking Ceremonial Overlook beside the pool! This is where the dramatic architecture and lush gardens created one of the most picturesque settings in Carmel Valley. La Flora Designs designed soft arrangements. They were filled with white blooms, delicate baby’s breath, hydrangeas, and touches of blush that enhanced the natural beauty of the space without taking away from it. The overall feeling was timeless, romantic, and undeniably luxurious!!
Following the ceremony, guests made their way to the Loggia Lawn for cocktail hour. This all happened while our team transformed the Chateau Noel Courtyard for the reception ahead. The transition felt seamless, allowing guests to enjoy another beautiful area of the estate before being welcomed into a completely reimagined reception space.
Reimagining the Chateau Noel Courtyard
One of our favorite design moments from Jess and Rob’s wedding at Stonepine Estate was completely rethinking how the Chateau Noel Courtyard could be used. While this space often serves as a ceremony location, we saw an opportunity to transform it into something guests wouldn’t expect.
The courtyard became the heart of the reception! It was anchored by a custom black-and-white dance floor that immediately became the focal point of the evening. Suspended crystal chandeliers were wrapped in greenery floated above the dining tables. This added drama and elegance while drawing guests into the center of the celebration. Long banquet tables framed the dance floor, creating a layout that felt intimate despite the grand scale of the courtyard. Candlelight, soft linens, romantic florals by La Flora Designs! And warm wood chairs balanced the bold architectural elements, creating a reception that felt refined while still feeling warm and inviting.
Looking through Dao J Photo’s gallery afterward, we couldn’t help but smile. Every image felt like it belonged in the pages of Vogue Weddings. The clean architecture, dramatic lighting, thoughtful design details, and effortless movement of Jess’s gown came together to perfectly capture everything we had envisioned for the day.
Ending the Night at the Blacksmith Bar
As if the day couldn’t get any better, guests were invited to one final surprise! An after party tucked inside Stonepine Estate’s Blacksmith Bar at the Double H Ranch. Moving everyone into an entirely new setting shifted the energy of the evening from elegant dinner party to lively celebration, giving guests the perfect place to dance, celebrate, and soak in every last moment of the weekend.
It’s details like these that make Stonepine Estate such a memorable wedding venue. The property offers couples the opportunity to create an experience that unfolds naturally throughout the day. With each location adding a new layer to the celebration.
