A Summer Night Market-Inspired Sangeet at Viansa Winery
The wedding weekend began at Viansa Winery with a vibrant Sangeet inspired by the energy of a summer night market. Designed to honor both of their cultures, the evening brought together food, music, and entertainment. It felt immersive from the moment guests arrived.
Rather than a traditional dinner setup, guests wandered between thoughtfully named food stations featuring Indian specialties, Chinese dumplings, and boba. The experience encouraged everyone to explore, mingle, and try something new throughout the evening.
A custom dance floor and incredible performances brought even more energy to the celebration. There was an intimacy to the evening despite the lively atmosphere, creating the perfect start to a wedding weekend centered around connection and celebration.
A Maximalist Summer Garden Wedding at The Estate Yountville
For the wedding day at The Estate Yountville, the design shifted into a full summer garden dream. Maximalism came through in layers of pattern, color, and floral details, creating a setting that felt playful and elevated without losing its warmth.
The patterned linens added personality to the tables, while scalloped menus and a floral-patterned seating chart continued the garden-inspired aesthetic. Custom cocktail napkins brought another opportunity for personality, and a bar sign featuring their beloved dog added a detail that was both unexpected and completely them.
At the ceremony, a lush floral arch framed the entrance to the aisle, while dramatic floral pillars created a statement moment at the altar. The abundance of florals made the space feel like an extension of a summer garden, with every detail adding to the sense of discovery throughout the day.
Dinner Beneath the Stars
As guests moved into dinner, the design took on a more romantic feel while still embracing the maximalist vision. Candelabras and colored taper candles brought warmth and depth to the tables, creating a beautiful glow as the evening continued beneath the stars.
The layered tabletop details gave guests plenty to discover while keeping the overall experience cohesive. Nothing felt added simply for the sake of more. Each element contributed to the colorful, playful world Sravya and Jerry had created for their guests.
A Lounge-Inspired After-Party
When it was time to party, the atmosphere shifted completely. Guests were greeted with dirty martinis and espresso martinis as they entered a new lounge-inspired dance space draped in green velvet. Disco balls, a fog machine, and elevated stages transformed the room into an energetic space designed entirely around having fun. And those stages had another purpose later in the night. They became karaoke platforms, giving guests a chance to take over the room and keeping the energy high well into the evening.
It was a completely different feeling from the garden-inspired wedding earlier in the day, which made the transition even more exciting. Sravya and Jerry’s after-party felt less like an extension of the reception and more like an entirely new experience.
